Terence M. Lenamon is a nationally known Board Certified, AV Rated criminal trial lawyer. Mr. Lenamon has defended criminal cases since 1992. He was a trial attorney in the Office of the Miami-Dade County Public Defender for five years, and then established a private criminal defense practice in the Miami area in 1997. His practice encompasses both state and federal charges in Florida and nationwide, with special emphasis on capital litigation.
Of his 20 first degree murder trials in which he served as first or second chair "learned counsel," he has tried eight death penalty cases to verdict. Several of his notable clients include Casey Anthony, Cesar Mena, Armond Davis, Sedrick Johnson, John Harris, and Mario Larra. His cases have been profiled on "The First 48," A & E "The Point", CNN, and Nancy Grace as well as in local media. Mr. Lenamon is an active participant in the Trial Lawyer's College. The Trial Lawyers College, founded by Gerry Spence, is reknowned for its litigation techniques and strategies. Mr. Lenamon is a graduate of Nova University School of Law, May 1992. He received the Order of the Barristers Award for Courtroom Advocacy 1992 and Trial Advocacy Award: Trial Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar 1992.
